Fully Automatic Kilns

Blue Diamond Kiln wishes to announce its newest product - TRU-MAT-TIC™, a truly automatic kiln. The automatic switching of the TRU-MAT-TIC™ controls the firing at LOW-MEDIUM-HIGH. This is the same LOW-MEDIUM-HIGH that the standard three position switch gives. A firing schedule similar to the way we fire manually. The kiln is on LOW for one hour, MEDIUM for one hour then on HIGH until the firing temperature is reached. Three red indicator lights show the stage of the firing cycle one for low, one for medium, and one for high. this is all done automatically. The operation of the TRU-MAT-TIC™ requires only one setting. The rotating of the control knob to the START position. There is one control knob on each section of the kiln and they are operated the same. Each is turned to START and the TRU-MAT-TIC™ does the rest. The TRU-MAT-TIC™ has an added feature for those wishing to fire longer on LOW. Up to three hours of LOW can be set on the automatic switch. This is simply done by stopping at any of the indicated positions ahead of the START position. There are two marked positions. Setting the control knob to two will give two hours of LOW while setting it to three will give it three hours of LOW. Any position in between can be set with a corresponding time as a result. Half way between two and three will give 2 and a half hours of LOW. The TRU-MAT-TIC™ will cycle through the time set automatically. The TRU-MAT-TIC™ can be operated manually as well. The control knob can be advanced to shorten the time in any power level. It can also be set back to extend the time in a power level. A whole power level can be bypassed as well. Setting the control knob to MEDIUM will allow no LOW but still give one hour of MEDIUM then the advance to HIGH. This is not recommended for normal firings and is only to show flexibility of the TRU-MAT-TIC™ kiln. The Blue Diamond TRU-MAT-TIC™ kiln is truly automatic. It produces a firing schedule that matches the way you fire now. No changes in your techniques are necessary. Well yes there is one change. Set the knobs to START then RELAX.
