The GLASS-MASTER™ kiln is specially designed for the GLASS ARTIST. With GLASS-MASTER™ the artist can do: fusing, slumping as well as decorating with special mediums such as decals, gold, lusters, etc. Heating elements mounted in the lid of the kiln are in a specially designed groove, eliminating the need for pins. This special groove allows the most downward radiant heat possible onto the work area. To further control the heat process, there are heating elements mounted in the side walls. These elements add extra heat, causing convection circulation to take place. This allows the heat to circulate, heating everything in the kiln evenly. There are two INFINITE controls that adjust the power input to the elements. One switch controls the element in the lid and the other controls the elements in the side walls. There are two red power indicator lights. One indicator light for the element in the lid, and the other for the elements on the side walls. The two INFINITE control switches will allow the operator to increase the temperature at any desired rate. The temperature increase can be watched on the Pyrometer which is mounted on the control panel above the control switches. The rate of temperature rise can be controlled very closely by coordinating electrical power input, with the temperature reading on the Pyrometer.
